Adding & Editing Stock

FlowBeacon supports a wide range of common pool chemicals out of the box. You can add as many of each as you need, set your preferred units, and configure a low stock alert threshold so the Shopping List knows when to flag an item.

Adding Stock​

When adding a new inventory item, you are not limited to logging just one unit at a time. If you picked up five gallons of muriatic acid, you can enter all five in a single entry. Set the quantity, select the unit that matches what you purchased, and optionally set a low stock alert threshold so FlowBeacon knows when to start flagging that item on your Shopping List.

Editing Stock​

If you need to correct a quantity or update the settings on an existing item, you can edit it directly from the Inventory screen. You can also let the Shopping List handle stock updates for you when restocking — both approaches work, so use whichever fits your workflow best.

Supported Chemicals​

FlowBeacon comes preloaded with the most common pool and spa chemicals organized by category.

FlowBeacon tracks chemicals by type, not by strength or concentration. For example, it does not matter whether your Liquid Chlorine is 10% or 12.5% — FlowBeacon will still correctly identify and subtract from that chemical in your inventory when a chemical adjustment is saved.
