Oval Pool Volume
The Oval calculator figures out the total water volume of an oval-shaped pool. An oval pool is essentially a stretched circle, so it uses the same circular multiplier applied to both the length and width dimensions.

The Formula
Length × Width × Average Depth × 5.9 = Volume in Gallons
The 5.9 multiplier accounts for the oval shape (derived from π ÷ 4 × 7.48). FlowBeacon calculates the average depth automatically from your shallow and deep depth values.
Inputs
- Length — The longest measurement across the pool
- Width — The shortest measurement across the pool
- Shallow Depth — The depth at the shallow end
- Deep Depth — The depth at the deepest end
All measurements should be entered in feet. The calculator returns the volume in gallons, liters, and cubic feet.
