Multi-Level Pool Volume
The Multi-Level calculator is designed for pools that have more than one distinct depth section — for example, a pool with a shallow wading area that steps down into a deeper main section. Each level is calculated separately and then added together for the total volume.

The Formula
Each level of the pool is treated as its own rectangular section using the standard formula:
Length × Width × Depth × 7.48 = Volume in Gallons (per level)
The volumes of all levels are then added together to produce the total pool volume.
Inputs
- Width — The width shared across both sections of the pool
- Length 1 — The length of the shallow section
- Depth 1 — The depth of the shallow section
- Length 2 — The length of the deep section
- Depth 2 — The depth of the deep section
All measurements should be entered in feet. The calculator returns the total volume in gallons, liters, and cubic feet.
